Just received Mom’s letter and the money also. Nice weather down here not much to say. I hope things keep up at home as they have.

We aren’t working as hard as we want (?) to but learn a lot of things.

Received your package and everything in it was what I needed. The cookies were good and went like hot cakes. Have been very busy on the range. We go out at 5:30 and get back at 7:30 so you see it is a long day the weather is nice and warm and all the flowers are starting to bloom. Got box of cigars from J. Levy

Dear Mom,

Received your letter and thanks a lot for what was in it.

Have just come back from the range where I worked as a telephone operator today. It was very warm and I have just taken a nice shower and feel good. I’ll try to call so not much else to write take good care of yourselves and regards to all.
